You need to wear the braces for 12-24 months and braces wont hurt and the period of wearing braces depends on the severity of the case

Hello Sir , the duration of the braces depends on the complexity of your problem.. you might have a dull pain for a period of three -four days post ur wire change every month. Once ur are comfortable with the braces will not experience much of pain or discomfort.
