Well this can be ofcourse brand related. Dont use your current soap or face wash. Use simple water to wash down your face. U don't need to remove natural skin oil every time After few days, if the thing persist, meet your doctor or dermatologist
Health Tips
dont try any product for your face without medical advice

Hello... I  assume that was a new brand soap/facewash You used that might have caused allergy reaction and mild burns to the very delicate thin skin under your eye area. I suggest not to use any soap/facewash at all till it get better and frequent cold water washing (no soap to the face). Ice packs(no direct application of ice, cover in a thin cloth or towel) on your eye area for 3-4 times a day for 10 -15 mts will help with the healing and pain if you have any. Don't apply any moisturizer or ointment for the time being. Give time for your thin skin in that area to renew by itself. Hopefully with in 5-7 days  things will be back to normal. If anything worsens please consult online. Thanks
