Dryness & discomfort in private area.
Hi Doctor, I am experiencing dryness and discomfort on my private area. The skin of the penis and the scrotum have irritation and sometimes gets cracks due to this. The penile glans also turns very dry and causes discomfort. I am quite sure that there is no infection in that area but as I always like to keep the area shaved, it sometimes gives small boils. I have tried oil and moisturizer but it gives only a temporary solution. Kindly help me and advise a good medicine for this issue.

It seems to be recurrent folliculitis. It needs to be treated asap otherwise it may get complicated. It can be well treated with homeopathic medicine effectively but you need an expert Homeopathic physician asap. It's a recurrent infection of the hair follicle..which is an internal problem. It needs to be treated with medicines and not any topical lotions.

It could be a skin condition not at all related to genital infections. It could be scrotal dermatitis or scrotal eczema. You can use aloe vera calendula ointment externally. Additionally however you will need internal medication for getting rid of the condition. Dry skin on the penis often occurs when the penis shaft lacks moisture or lubrication, which can be related to causes like skin irritation, use of soaps, prolonged sex. Also lack of lubrication due to inadequate prostatic fluid may cause this.
Next Steps
For further evaluation and treatment consult online in private with photographs of the condition.
Health Tips
Avoid tight clothing. Change clothing immediately if it gets wet. Do not carry on the day with wet clothes on. Use moisturieser.
