Dream of my ex
Dear doctor today morning I have dream of my ex in early morning and feeling very anxious about her please help me.

How long have you been separated for? Because it made you anxious, I am assuming not very long. It is normal to develop anxiety after a break up until you achieve acceptance. It just means that you have been thinking a lot about your ex lately and you probably still have feelings (positive or negative) towards your ex. Please talk to a Psychiatrist if this is happening on a regular basis. Therapy will help. Take up some form of physical exercise/ yoga. That will help with anxiety too.

Hi Could you please explain what the dream was about and how did you take it? Are you under any stress It's natural to get dreams about people who are there or have been there in our life and specially when we are thinking about them. So what is causing you issue. Please eloborate

You had dream of your ex girlfriend. Its okay.It's quite normal. Now the question is why you felt anxious.Let me tell you one thing whether it was bad or good it was just a dream. Its difficult to overcome any any relationship  completely. The emotional strings leave its traces.But gradually  slowly you will come out of it. Dont worry.So many thoughts are going in our subconscious mind.But you have to say to yourself that its was my past and i m not at all disturbed with anything related to her.If it's possible have just a friendly relationship with her.like friends.
Next Steps
Take it easy.Dont think too much.Engage yourself in studies or something constructive.

It's only normal for people it remember their ex partners once in a while as the memories may be deep rooted. And this also can sometimes manifest in the form of dreams. Ask yourself if you are completely over the relationship else give it a closure. Reasoning out in your mind about the reasons you closed the relationship and accepting the change and looking forward to a better future is important. Accept that there could be some thoughts and you cannot delete the entire episode or scenes of relationship. Eventually with time it fades away.
Next Steps
Keep yourself busy and occupied. Stop stalking her what's app profile and Facebook and other social accounts. Do not repeatedly check the messages. Get more active in social life and pursue hobbies.
