If a dog neither bit you nor scratched you, there’s generally no need for concern about diseases like rabies. Rabies is transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal, typically via bites or open wounds. However, if the dog licked an open wound or mucous membrane (e.g., eyes, mouth), there might still be a small risk.
If you’re worried or uncertain about exposure,
it’s always a good idea to consult for more details DM
Please find out from the owners of the dog whether the dog is vaccinated or not.
In the meantime you should start your treatment as if the dog was not vaccinated.
