Please do not worry. Rabies virus does not survive long outside the body and it does not spread by touching a plastic object that a dog has licked. Indirect contact like this is not a real risk, and you have also already completed a booster dose of anti rabies vaccine in May 2026, which gives you good protection. Just wash your hands with soap and running water for 10 to 15 minutes, and if there is any small break in the skin, wash it well with soap and water and apply povidone iodine. No further vaccine or immunoglobulin is needed for this kind of exposure. Only a direct bite, a scratch that bleeds, or a lick on broken skin or mucous membrane would need a booster, in which case 2 doses on day 0 and day 3 are enough for a previously vaccinated person.
