Depending on the degree of wound you have and date of previous vaccination treatment defers. Since in your case it's just a scratch and you took vaccination recently no need of immunoglobulin therapy
If bleeding is present from scratches then you should take immunoglobin injection . And if bleed is not present then there is no need to take immunoglobin .
Next Steps
complete your vaccination 0 ,3rd ,7th and 28th day
Health Tips
40I.U multiple with body weight = immunoglobin dose but not exceed more than 3000 I.U
If your dog is vaccinated, and is not showing any symptoms of rabies, if you had washed immediately your scratch injury with soap, and as you have taken 1st dose of Anti Rabies vaccine, it does not seem necessary to go for Human Anti Rabies Immunoglobulins for the time being. You should continue Day 3 and Day 7 shots of ARV without fail. Observe the dog for 10 days. If it goes Rabied, then you should take Immunoglobulins in proper dose and complete 6 doses of ARV.
Immunoglobulin injection is meant for a specific purpose, to be given around the wound. In your case no such thing happened. So you are not a candidate for immunoglobulin.
Depends on the level of exposure ...In just a scratch no need for Immunoglobulin...In case of deep wound and more bleeding there is an indication of both vaccine and immunoglobulin 👍
