Hello DOCTOR..
4 year ago i had an HIV exposure but unfortunately that time i was taking Antidepressant SSRI. I took Antidepressant SSRI daily through out the whole HIV Window period of 90 days.
I read an Article that says Antidepressant SSRI significantly slow down viral replication and RT response of HIV.
Now i am worrying.. thinking that if that study is true then my daily intake of Antidepressant SSRI might have slowed down viral replication and rt response of HIV to the undetectable level slowly day by day during the 90 days window period. Even when i took my HIV 3rd gen antibody test on 92 days, that time i might have had that much low virus even my immune system could not detect the virus or virus particle and could not produce detectable level of HIV Antibodies. Therefor my 3rd gen Antibody test on 92 days might have been failed. Tell me whether my test conclusive or not.

SSRIs do not invalidate standard HIV testing, and a negative 3rd generation test at 92 days is considered conclusive. Please don’t panic or keep overthinking old exposures.
"I have reviewed your concern and the study you referenced. It is important to state clearly: Your HIV antibody test at 92 days is 100% conclusive. While some research (like the article you cited) explores the in vitro (laboratory) effects of SSRIs on viral replication, these effects are not potent enough to prevent the human immune system from producing detectable antibodies. There is no clinical evidence that antidepressants interfere with HIV testing or extend the 'window period.' A 3rd-generation test at 92 days is considered the gold standard for finality; if you were infected, the test would have been positive regardless of your SSRI intake."
Next Steps
Accept the Result: "Medically, you do not have HIV. The virus cannot stay 'hidden' from an antibody test for four years, especially after a clear result at the 3-month mark. You can safely close this chapter of your life."
Address Health Anxiety: "The level of detail in your research suggests you may be suffering from Health Anxiety or OCD specifically related to HIV (often called 'HIV-phobia'). This is a common psychological response after a perceived exposure. I recommend speaking with a mental health professional to help manage these intrusive thoughts."
Final Confirmation (Optional): "If you need absolute psychological closure, you may undergo a single 4th Generation HIV p24 Antigen/Antibody test. This is medically unnecessary after four years, but it may provide the definitive 'peace of mind' you are seeking."
