Disc is a central structure and protrude from any side. The only permanent way to cure this problem is regular physiotherapy and Interferential therapy for some sessions. Please make her understand that medications only mask the symptoms for the time patient starts regular exercises. Do not worry. Just follow up with your orthopedic and physiotherapist for further follow up.
