Disc bulge at l4-l5
My name is Phani, I am 25 years old from HYD suffering from disc bulge. Can anyone tell me will it cure it self? And I'm using Ani-inflammatory drugs prescribed by spine surgeon using from 20 days and also I'm undergoing for Physco therapy but my sciatica pain was not reduced suddenly I'm getting pain while doing any difficult moment. Is it good to go with microscopic disc anatomy in this age. And I've taken MRI in that results Mild posterior disc bulge causing thecal sac indentation and minimal bilateral neural foraminal narrowing at L3-L4 level. Diffuse disc bulge with postero-central protrusion causing thecal sac compression and moderate bilateral lateral recess narrowing with impingement on traversing nerve roots at L4-L5 level. Mild diffuse disc bulge causing thecal sac indentation and mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing, abutting traversing nerve roots at L5-S1 level. Pls suggest me what I need do to reduce my leg pain. Swimming, yoga and walking good?

Multiple treatment approach you need Only medicine will not help Bed rest for few days followed by gradual mobilization Hot water massage Life style modifications Lumbosacral belt use Medicine for 6 week Physiotherapy after 4 week of treatment Combine all this will help

In case of pain - take rest Pain medication, muscle relaxants Gabapentin, calcium supplements Physiotherapy IFT ULTRASONIC THERAPY Till the pain subsided restrict your physical activity , then after resume your strengthening exercises
Next Steps
maintain spine in straight posture and Avoid forward bending and lifting weights sleep on Hard couch and avoid pillow under head and use it under knees do hot fomentation and physio
