Hello Practo user. Thank you for your query. A detailed psychiatric assessment is required. These seem like symptoms of depression. You would need medications or therapy depending on the severity of your symptoms. It has to be continued for a minimum period of 1 year but you will start noticing benefits soon after the start of treatment. Kindly consult a psychiatrist soon. You should start feeling better soon. Wishing you good health!
Next Steps
Seek a proper psychiatric consultation.

Hi there, A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed from the patient and close friends or family members who can talk about patient before and after the symptoms.A detailed Medical Status Examination is also needed to come for the provisional and final diagnosis.Treatment is directed towards the diagnosis. So coming to your problems, there is sleep disturbance, lack of attention and need to keep to yourself rather than involving your self. Your mood changes have not been described. What is the duration of the symptoms? Was there any psychological stressor before starting of the symptoms?
Next Steps
You definitely need the help of a mental health professional. May be psychological disorder like depressive illnesses causing the memory disturbances. Be positive in your thoughts. Do take the help of the mental health professional. Early intervention is always better in any disorder.
