Apply diclofenac ointment to the area and cover it with a cloth for 10 mins.
clean it with warm water following hot water fermentation. Repeat this twice a day for a week.
Do lower back strengthening exercises if possible, if pain arises then let me know for other treatment options.
I my opinion it’s only TENS that can cause stiffness if taken at a high intensity.pls remember intensity should be only that much that you feel the tingling sensation not above that.If it reduces after some time you can ask therapist to increase that.So observe this you won’t feel stiffness in ur next session.
