Bloating is the feeling of fullness or tightness in the abdomen due to excess gas or fluid. A hernia, on the other hand, is a condition where an organ or tissue protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal wall. While bloating is a sensation, a hernia involves a physical displacement of tissue.
