Hi For Blood pressure include these foods and herbs that can help with bp like garlic, onions, carrot, cardamom, ginger, flaxseed and tomatoes, beets, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, apricots, watermelon, avocados, lemons , figs, raddish and less salt...can add a pinch of iodized salt to dishes...and not more than that.. Mentioned foods can be taken both for bp and sugar together.. For diabetes include low carbs, moderate plant protein,low fat, high fiber, low gi foods, consume complex carbs, enough water intake, good sleep and rest, daily physical activities both morning and evening as much as he can do.., less of animal based proteins, no outside food, no more fat, 1 TSP ghee in dal are all essential to follow in diabetes.. Walking is must daily on all the days of the week..

Is he on medication, what is his last BP and Sugar reading kindly  provide details + his food Consumption  pattern  and physical  activities

include  small meals at frequent intervals  with restrictions  on simple carbohydrates,high calorie, processed  foods,high sodium foods such as bakery products. Let him include  more fibre in his diet by adding  variety  of green leafy vegetables gourds and other vegetables  and selective fruits

Plenty of vegetablesfruits and greengram sprouts everymeal is the best planned diet. Substitute millets for rice wheat .Ragi jowar,foxmillet are the best common millets. Exercise,/yoga/,playing sports for one hour minimumis the best physical activity. Drink enough water .Sleep atleast for six hrs at night leisurely. Still need clarification ,can call thru practo.

Hello. Diet pattern for hypertension and diabetes depends on different criteria. Blood sugar variation in last 90 days. Blood pressure ratio of last few days as well lifestyle and daily activity of a person. There is a specific pattern is called diabetes reversal through diet. That also can be done. So better will be to share his all details and diet routine of the day to start a healthy and balance diet as per his requirement. You can also get his constitution ( vaat/pit/kapha) check for better and specific results
