Patient age 90. Medical history stroke, high bp, sugar, chronic venous sufficiency, neumonia. Currently in ICU due to stroke on food pipe. Sodium is low. Sodium bottle through drip are given to patient. Swelling seen in body, fluctuating heart beat.

It is very necessary to maintain the optimum levels for all the mentioned parameters, doctors and the duetitian at the hospital can co ordinate to help accurately, most of all stay calm and try to assure the patient keep them stress free.

Hi, As the patient is hospitalised, so it's better to have the consultation from the Clinical dietician there & the Doctor undertaking the treatment.
