On day 5 after operation you can eat all that you were eating earlier. A normal diet is the best diet . I don't believe in additional doses of  dry fruits etc. You should eat what everyday else in the family is eating.  Don't put on too much of weight in the garb of regaining strength and all that.  You will have lot of problems in losing that weight. Yes,  we should take Iron,  Calcium and  Multivitamins supplements.
