Hello , physiotherapy plays a major role in diastasis recti cases. Although complete diastasis with Major gap in the continuity of rectus abdominis cannot be treated alone with therapy as there are chances of herniation.

Yes it can be treated with physiotherapy exercises, We need to first focus on syncing up abdominal muscles with respiratory & pelvic floor muscles, for that you’ve to concentrate on isometric exercises of core muscles along with maintaining good posture while standing and sitting.
