Diabetes and unplanned pregnancy
Hello Doctor, My wife was diabetic and we came to know this only when she was pregnant, at the time fourth week of pregnancy we came to know she’s diabetic and her hba1c is 10.8. However we took immediate steps to control sugar levels and decide to continue with the pregnancy under guidance of doctors. All the scan we took during the pregnancy were normal. My daughter was born at 37 weeks pregnancy , it was a c section delivery. At the time birth, doctors told baby is normal and nothing to worry. Also the first complete blood test of baby was normal. Now my daughter is 3.5 years old, but even thought she’s normal I’m little worried about her. Should I have to take her for any further scans or tests?? Or she’s already good? Kindly give me some suggestions

Hi., I can understand your concern. No need for scans and tests. If she's having any issues, then tests are needed.
Next Steps
avoid giving processed foods in future.
