Pregnancy and diabetes

HI,My sister is pregnant since 2months , recently tested blood sugar,she has random 240 and HBA1C is 8%, Never diagnosed with diabetes before,Is this any thing because of pregnancy or not,will this cured after birth. Please suggest.

2 months..means mostly she had Diabetes before pregnancy.Consult urgently and bring sugars down..so that baby is healthy and fine.Less likely it will go after childbirth
