Hello there! I’m so sorry to hear your are going through depression from many years now. Along with medication, I suggest you to take Counselling sessions from a professional psychologist that would definitely help as they work along with you to assess the concerned areas and work on it. It will help you improve immensely from the void you are feeling in your life & and build your inner strengths to deal with all the challenges of life.
Next Steps
Please seek Therapy from a professional Psychologist as soon as possible.
Health Tips
1.I would suggest to maintain a sleep routine, try to sleep on same time daily. A good 7-8 hours of sleep for adults is needed, anything less than that is sleep deprivation. 2.Drink water regularly and eat small portions of food every 1 hour or so , do not stay empty stomach. 3. Gently bring your focus on the simple things you do daily, example, while having tea, food, or water notice the minute details. 4. These few tips might look very simple but they are the most ignored aspects. Only when you are healthy and have had good sleeping habits other things can be worked out in a better manner & we can see better results. I wish you good health soon!!!

Hi, Consider taking professional help of psychologist that will help you to overcome this situation. If you are on medication for 8 yrs somewhere you know that what you are going through is different. It mostly happens due to the life challenges we face, our past & present issues, emotional suppression. Through hypnotherapy we relaxes our mind, through reprogramming of subconscious mind we achieve positivity, liveliness & happiness. Take care

Feeling a void and a lack of emotions or enjoyment can indeed be distressing. As a mental health practitioner, I recommend considering professional support. A therapist or counselor can help explore these feelings, understand their roots, and work towards finding strategies to bring more fulfillment and joy into your life. If you're currently on medication, it's also crucial to discuss any changes in your emotional state with your prescribing doctor. They can provide insights into whether adjustments in your treatment plan might be beneficial.
