Hi... Please consult your Psychiatrist regarding impacts of the medications s/he has prescribed. Also, please mention the name of medication in the query. Some antidepressants are meant to make mind relax so the patient can have some rest. They are neither meant to make someone more energetic or increase attention span. You are probably reading too much between the lines (metaphor). You can consult another Psychiatrist for a second opinion if you are not satisfied with the first one.
