What an ideal step dentist should do when I visit for normal check up or should i ask him special treatment. I visited dentist 4 years back.

A dentist will do your scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar. This will keep your gums healthy. Your dentist will also check each tooth for cavities and advise if anything is required
