Dental scaling is not painful. But you might feel a bit of sensitivity. Sometimes sensitivity remains for a day but it will heal by itself.
Next Steps
visit your nearby dentist and get your scaling done before it spreads it's infection towards underlying gums.
Health Tips
Brush twice daily. use mouth wash. Do not drink anything  very cold or very hot just after your scaling, take all in room temperature.you can have normally from next day.

Hi, the deposits which you are talking about are hard deposits and doesn’t go with normal brushing. You need to get it cleaned by machine. The procedure won’t be painful. Don’t worry! Nevertheless, u may have little sensitivity and bleeding if the deposits are stuck deep inside. Also, you may feel gaps between your teeth, because of the removal of the deposits and you may feel your teeth have become little loose. But, all this is temporary. The condition of your teeth will get back to normal in few days. Kindly get your deposits removed asap else it’s May infect your gums and ultimately bone.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist

Dental scaling is not at all a painful procedure. No injections no mediactions involved until unless there is an underlying infection. Considering your age it wont be a painful procedure at all so you can proceed as soon as possible to prevent more accumulation of deposits
Next Steps
maintainance of oral hygeine is very important after scaling otherwise deposits will  accumulate again
Health Tips
1. maintain proper brushing technique 2. its always good to have a dental appointment every 6 months
