For cavity first you should take X_ray(IOPA) of the particular teeth....and based on radiographic investigation we can do the treatment....
***If the cavity is shallow, simple filling is enough...
***If the cavity is deep reaching berve layer then Root canal treatment is indicated..
If u wanna go for extraction then you can replace the missing tooth with implants too....
Restrictions of Implants:
***children under 18 years
***Diabetes
*** Preganancy
***mental disorder
*** Heart disease(Angina pectoris)
***consumption of tobacco
***Autoimmune disease
*** Patient under radiotherapy,osteoporosis patient with bisphosphonates medication
*** Insufficient bone to support implant
*** If it is near important structure like nerves,sinus area
***poor oral hygiene
***clenching or grinding of teeth(Bruxism)
