Hi doctor,
Can u please tell us when to hospitalize in dengue condition.
Is it during fever or after fever, once platelets count decrease.
My husband fever started from sunday midnight
Monday and Tuesday his fever was 99/100
First CBC done on Tuesday.
Results: dengue NS1 positive and platelet count is 195000
From Tuesday night, he has high grade fever spikes 101/100 Wednesday and Thursday.
Second CBC was repeated on Friday: and platelet count is 110000
He doesn't have fever since friday night, and no symptoms of pain abdomen, bleeding, vomiting, purpura.
Please suggest do we need to hospitalize for platelet count.
Thank you so much in advance.
