Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D deficiencies are quite common and can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, low energy, muscle weakness, and poor immunity. While medications are often prescribed by doctors depending on the deficiency level, improving your diet and lifestyle can also help support these nutrient levels. Dietary and Lifestyle Recommendations: - Include foods such as milk, curd, paneer, eggs, chicken, fish, and fortified cereals, as vitamin B12 is mainly found in animal-based foods and fortified products. - Try to get 15–20 minutes of morning sunlight exposure on arms and face regularly, as sunlight is the most natural source of vitamin D. - Add foods such as eggs, fatty fish, mushrooms, and fortified dairy products, which can contribute to improving vitamin D levels. - Ensure meals contain complex carbohydrates, lean protein, healthy fats, fruits, and vegetables to support overall nutrient absorption and metabolism. Along with medicines prescribed by your doctor, maintaining regular sunlight exposure and a balanced nutrient-rich diet will help improve vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels gradually.
