Dear Patient,  For evaluating persistent gastric issues when basic tests like ultrasound and FibroScan are normal, the choice between CT scan* and *endoscopydepends on your specific symptoms and clinical suspicion:  *Endoscopy (Upper GI Endoscopy) - Preferred First-Line Test**  - Best for:Direct visualization of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum.  - Detects:* Gastritis, ulcers, H. pylori infection, tumors, or bleeding.  - Advantages: Allows biopsy (if needed) and immediate diagnosis of mucosal abnormalities.  - Limitations:Invasive (requires sedation), but very safe.  *CT Scan (CECT Abdomen) - Secondary Option - Best for:Evaluating deeper structures, masses, or complications (e.g., perforation, abscess).  - Detects:Tumors, pancreatitis, or vascular issues.  - Limitations:Less sensitive for early mucosal changes (e.g., mild gastritis).  Recommendation: 1. Start with endoscopy if your symptoms suggest acid reflux, ulcers, or unexplained pain.  2. Consider CT only if:    - Red flags (weight loss, vomiting blood, severe pain).     - Endoscopy is normal but symptoms persist.  Next Steps: - Consult a gastroenterologist to discuss your symptoms in detail.  - Avoid self-referring for tests—clinical correlation is key.  For a **personalized evaluation**, you can reach me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two**.

What is your exact problem? Some diseases are better diagnosed with ct , some with endoscopy Being less invasive , ct is done prior to endoscopy in some cases All this depends on your primary problem

Depends on what kind of issues you're having. If something like Heartburn, and constant pain in your chest as the acid comes up go for an endoscopy. A CT Scan is required only for certain special cases.

Endoscopy is always Better as it looks inside your gut and gives clear actual picture But I think you can go ahead with CT also as it will cover whole abdomen area inside and outside which is helpful if your concern is chronic and not been diagnosed yet
