At around 6 weeks of pregnancy, sometimes the heartbeat is not clearly seen yet, especially if ovulation happened later than expected. A CRL of about 5 mm with absent cardiac activity can still be within normal limits at this stage. It does not automatically mean the pregnancy is not viable
Next Steps
The standard recommendation is to repeat the ultrasound after 7–10 days. In many cases, cardiac activity becomes visible on follow-up. At this stage of pregnancy, the findings need close monitoring by a gynecologist. I strongly advise you to get an in-person gynecological review as soon as possible for further evaluation and guidance. Meanwhile, take rest, continue prescribed supplements, and avoid stress.
Health Tips
Do not make any decision about termination yet. Only after a repeat scan and clinical review can the viability be confirmed. If you develop bleeding, severe abdominal pain, or fainting episodes, seek immediate care.

With a CRL of 5.04 mm and no cardiac activity at this stage, the next step is to wait and repeat the ultrasound in about a week, as there is still a possibility of detecting a heartbeat on follow-up. There is no indication for immediate termination based on this single ultrasound finding .

Hello, Fetal cardiac activity is hard to detect before 7-8 weeks of pregnancy, also it is not advised to do TVS in earlier weeks of pregnancy as it may cause termination of pregnancy.. Just take good diet, take rest and avoid stress.. Get a trans abdominal scan done after 2 weeks..
Next Steps
Consult a gynecologist
Health Tips
Take Folic acid supplements..

Hi, first of all please calm down! You would need another sonography to confirm the fetal cardiac activity, which can be done in 2 weeks! Its sometimes normal for cardiac activity to not be heard in early scan! But please dont panic, and wait and repeat scan for confirmation of cardiac activity! Until then please take care of urself!
Next Steps
USG obs scan after 1- 2 weeks
Health Tips
Think positive, stay calm and take as much as rest possible!
