Cracked nipples
I have cracked nipples since I started feeding. It's been 20 days now. There is little blood on the cracks. Now I have learnt to latch so there is no new injury but the old bloody cracks are slow on healing. If I continue to breastfeed, how can I ensure the cracks heal ? I tried pumping and feeding but baby isn't satisfied so have to direct breastfeed. And due to cracks, when baby latches it pains but rest of feeding is smooth. I have been applying nip cream/borosil in between feeds but haven't had much improvement Can I heal the cracks along with direct feeding ? Please advice
