It’s always best to give medicines that are properly labeled, especially for small children. The cooling sensation you noticed could be due to menthol or similar ingredients, which are not usually used for babies. For safety, please pause the syrup for now and check with your doctor or pharmacy about its name and ingredients before giving it again. It’s always okay to double-check when it comes to little ones.

Cannot comment on the syrup. But it is not proper Homoeopathic treatment. I suggest taking proper homoeopathic medicine selected on the symptoms.

Hello mam It’s possible that the syrup contains menthol or a similar ingredient, which is not recommended for small babies. Stop it for now and confirm the contents with your doctor before giving again.
Health Tips
Give warm water or milk, no cold drinks. ½ tsp warm honey. Keep baby’s head raised while sleeping. Avoid smoke, perfume, menthol, and unlabeled syrups. See a doctor if cough lasts > 5 days or breathing is fast.

Do not consume any cough syrup... Cough is one of the symptoms of respiratory tract illness. The cause needs to be identified. The diagnosis is very important. It can be well treated with homeopathic medicine effectively and without any side effects but you need an expert Homeopathic physician asap.
