Cont. Left knee with MCL injury
I was playing cricket and fell awkwardly on my inner portion of the knee and heard a pop sound. Visited an orthopedic dr yesterday and he has suggested to wait for 7 days and has prescribed me a few pain relief and swelling reducing tablets. And also suggested me to use a long leg knee brace. I wanted to enquire if i can skip the knee brace and wear a knee sleeve instead. Will wearing a knee sleeve worsen the injury? Thanks

Try not doing that. Wear a knee brace for 4 weeks.

Knee sleeve doesn't restrict movements as much as the brace does. If you want to get alright soon , you need to follow your doctor's advice.
