Daily consumption of any laxative for a long time, leads to habituation,  I.e. intestines do not function well, without laxative.  The large intestine becomes dilated over time and sluggish. Therefore try to correct constipation by natural means. Drink hot water before sleeping and after getting up. Drink more water in day time. Take more of fresh green leafy vegetables,  fruits particularly papaya,  orange. Do regular physical exercise.
Next Steps
Try substituting isapgol husk for dupahalac. You can take 4 to 6 spoons of isapgol with hot water or milk.
