Hi What are other symptoms you have other then constipation ? Constipation can be a side effect of drug you are taking currently, that is prothiaden. So ask your doctor to either change this or reduce the dose of it. A newer drug name Prucaloride  is used in chronic constipation, it can be tried after discussion with your Psychiatrist. Hope this helps you. Thanks and regards.
