Since you have just started solids, your baby’s digestive system is still adjusting to new foods. You can continue breastfeeding and offer small amounts of water after feeds. Including fruits like papaya can help soften stools. Gentle tummy massage and cycling the baby’s legs can also help relieve discomfort.
Next Steps
If the baby remains uncomfortable or the stools are persistently hard, it’s best to consult a nearby pediatrician.
