I recently asked for my baby who has plagioschphaly, please have a look at the pictures, I am trying to reposition him as much as I can while sleeping and also giving him tummy time when he is awake.

Keep tummy time atleast 15-20mins, repositioning of head. Children's skull shape can rectify till 1 year of age. If still plagiocephaly is present then helmet therapy could be required.

Continue more of tummy time while awake and changing positions while sleeping. It will improve gradually.

Positional plagiocephaly causes a noticeable flat spot on an infant's skull.Your current efforts with regular repositioning and supervised tummy time are excellent initial management strategies.To optimize healing, alternate the direction your baby faces in the crib each night.Other management possibilities include formal pediatric physical therapy or specialized molding helmet therapy.
