Greetings change in stool frequency is common and often normal if your child remains happy and active. Since he is feeding and sleeping well without discomfort, you can safely monitor him at home for now. Ensure he stays hydrated and offer fiber-rich options like pureed prunes, pears, or whole grains. Gentle tummy massages or moving his legs in a bicycle motion can also help stimulate bowel movements. Do not give any laxatives or home remedies without consulting

Hello If you are noticing it recently you need to look for whether this is a pattern like he is passing stools once in two days. Look for consistency of stools, straining if any while passing or crying. Few babies pass stools once in 3-4 days which is normal but you need to be aware of symptoms of constipation also. You need to look if abdomen is soft , his feeding also. Add more fibre to diet, give him vegetables and whole fruits. Hydration is important. Once in while if you feel this is happening few modifications in diet and encourage him to use the toilet immediately after food will help. If you find this concerning consult your paediatrician.

A one or two day gap without stool is common at this age, especially if your baby is breastfed, since breast milk leaves very little waste behind. Because your baby is still feeding and sleeping well, this on its own isn't a worry.
Next Steps
Watch for a hard, bloated belly, vomiting, blood in the stool, or unusual fussiness or feeding trouble. If stool hasn't passed in another day or two, or any of these show up, please see your pediatrician.
Health Tips
Don't give any laxative, suppository, or home remedy on your own. What's safe depends on your baby's exact age and weight.
