Consistent Heartburn
My mother and father both are 60+ years. Both are suffering from heartburn and acid reflux daily . We generally give them digene syrup and pantop 40 mg when severity.
But problem is not solving even in short term. They are suffering from past 1-1.5 months. No of digene bottles finished.
But not getting proper improvement. Pls suggest medicine and treatment

This is a case of acute gastric reflux, common at old age due to sedentary lifestyle. I would suggest a gastric endoscopy to rule out any ulceration.
