Confusion about pregnancy
Hi, we were trying for a baby and we had intercourse on the days leading to my ovulation and 9 days after i could see symptoms like brown discharge, mild cramping, increased hunger, tiredness in doing the same chores i used to do, feeling hot more than usual, getting irritated easily, mood swings... All these symptoms but as i tested with home pregnancy kits it all came negative i started testing one week prior to my period i even tested two days prior to my period but its still negative. Does it mean i am not pregnant.. then why i am feeling these symptoms.

We diagnose pregnancy by a urine pregnancy test or a blood test or sonography. All these should be done only after you have missed a period. All other symptoms are not specific.

These are very vague symptoms Pregnancy test should be done after a skipped period Any test prior to that would be wrongly timed and negative

If you trying to conceive and if your cycles are regular, you should know about your fertile window after your ovulation. Cramping, irritaability, fatigue, low mood and increased appetite might be symptoms of pms ( premenstrual syndrome)as well. If you got your period, you are not pregnant If you missed your period at any point later in future, do a urine pregnancy test.

If you are trying to conceive, you should understand that D8 to Day 18 is your fertile window. Indeed, in these days, you should make relation daily or alternate days . 2. you should get your urine test for pregnancy done around seven days afteryour due date .It’s so early, so it is difficult to decide that whether you are pregnant or not.
