Condromalacia Patella
Hello, I am a 31 years old female with an active lifestyle. I recently had been diagnosed with CP grade 2 (along with other minor strains and effusion). The knee pain that felt harmless before is now limiting my movements, causing crepitus at times, pain and swelling around the knee cap area (along with quad tendonitis I feel), etc. Inactive glutes, overactive front quad, repeated stress on knee cap, muscle imbalance, vitamin d deficiency could be some of the reasons shared by some doctors.  I am taking joint/bone supplements, doing physiotherapy from 1 month, not doing any high intensity workout, taking rest, using knee braces; still pain and swelling are not going away. They are intermittent. One doctor has suggested PRP plus Prolotherapy, while some doctors said at this age the healing will happen on its own in some time, just focus on physiotherapy, I am really confused right now, I just want to make it stop from getting worse. What should I do? Can someone please help me?
