I accidentally got scratched by a dog, but there is no visible bleeding on my leg. However, I completed a full course of the rabies vaccination one year ago. I would like to know if it is necessary to take the rabies vaccine again in this situation.
Kindly advise.

Rabies infection has no treatment so it's always better to get a post exposure vaccine with the benefit of the doubt it will increase your antibody titre and will help your immune system fight the virus in later years too.You should remember that the incubation period of the virus is upto 14 years.
