I'm 29 years old male who got injured while practicing long jump and MRI report revealed complete ACL tear in RT knee. Dr suggest me to have acl reconstruction but few of them suggest me acl reconstruction result in arthritis after 5-10 years. Plz clarify

Arthritis after ACL reconstruction is a possibility but it depends upon amount of injury to articular cartilage, meniscus injury, meniscectomy or meniscus repair and non-anatomical ACL reconstruction.
