I’ve been experiencing a chronic cough for the past 8 months. There’s no pain, and my lungs appear fine—I can comfortably hold my breath for 2 minutes consistently. Recently, I had a blood test, and the results showed slightly elevated levels of SGPT, ALP, GGT, and cholesterol. Could these findings be related to my persistent cough, or is there another underlying issue?

For a chronic cough, common diagnostic tests include Chest X-ray, Spirometry, Complete Blood Count (CBC), Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), and in some cases, Computed Tomography (CT) scan, Bronchoscopy, or Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) to determine the underlying cause.
