Chondromalacia Patellae Healing
I had a fall while playing football. I went to a orthopaedic surgeon and got MRI and CT scan done. The report said that I have chondromalacia grade 3. My doctor looked at the images and the report and said that it'll heal completely on it's own in 3 weeks rest time. I am reading online that grade 3 is too much damage for healing on it's own. I am concerned now. I have a pattern of not trusting diagnosis. So I am not sure if this is genuine worry or my bad habit. Please advice 🙏 .

Chondromalacia patellae if not healed at its own can be treated with PRP injections with  very decent results. We do 2-3 cases every month with decent success.
Next Steps
Consult with a Pain Management Specialist for further guidance and management.

Chondromalacia will heal by itself in due course, provided adequate rest is given to the knee. Don’t worry.
