Hi, Hope you are doing well. Based on what you have provided I would strongly advice you to start the following A regular calorie counted diet Aerobic exercise (walking, jogging, running, swimming etc) - 30 mins a day for 5 days a week. Start slow Avoid alcohol and smoking Do not panic over your reports. It's all right. Check your fasting sugars and blood pressure once Repeat the reports only after 3 months. The sample has to be a fasting sample (8 hours of no food, basically after you wake up give a morning sample) You don't directly need medicines to control this. Don't fall for that. Do consult for better information

To manage cholesterol, follow a diet that emphasizes soluble fiber-rich foods like oats, barley, and fruits, plant-based protein sources like legumes and nuts, healthy fats like avocado and olive oil, and whole grains, while limiting dietary cholesterol, saturated and trans fats, refined carbohydrates, and high-sodium foods, and incorporating cholesterol-lowering nutrients like plant sterols, stanols, and omega-3 fatty acids.

**Dear Patient,**  Your cholesterol levels are indeed elevated, with a total cholesterol of **248 mg/dL** and LDL (often referred to as "bad cholesterol") at 190 mg/dL. The desirable ranges are:  - Total cholesterol: Below 200 mg/dL (optimal)  - LDL: Below 100 mg/dL (ideal for most adults, or below 70 mg/dL if you have diabetes/heart disease).  Given your age (29 years), it’s important to address this proactively. While lifestyle changes (e.g., avoiding fried foods, alcohol, and smoking) are essential, medication like Atorvastatinmay be warranted, especially if you have other risk factors (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, or family history of heart disease).  Next Steps: 1. Consult a specialist (like myself) for a comprehensive evaluation. We’ll assess your overall risk and tailor a plan.  2. If prescribed, continue medication (e.g., Atorvastatin) and recheck lipids in 4 weeks.  3. Prioritize a heart-healthy diet (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins) and regular exercise.  Important:Self-management without medical supervision can be risky. Let’s discuss your health history in detail to ensure the best approach.  **For a personalized consultation, reach out to me directly on WhatsApp at "eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two".**
