Cholesterol level
I had tested lipid profile in Feb, 2021. My figures were as under: Total cholesterol : 242 Ldl cholesterol : 169 Triglycrides: 159 Then I started taking ayurvedic medicines. After three months (10 May 2021)I again tested and my figures r as follows: Total cholesterol: 227 Ldl cholesterol : 158 Triglycrides144 My ayurvedic dr has asked me to take ayurvedic medicine for next three months. My question is should I continue to take ayurvedic medicine? Or my figures look critical so that I should start taking alopathy medicins to lower it? Varsha Mahajan

Your values are not critical.. but you should have regular physical exercise for 45 minutes per day, avoid oily spicy fried and sugary items..and drink plenty of fluids.. these strictly if you follow for 3 months and repeat test your levels will be reduced.
