Hello, the cholesterol levels can be gotten under control though a healthy life style and a correct diet. 1st, avoid foods high in fat like fried food, red meat, high fat dairy products. Along with avoiding fats you would also need to restrict on simple carbohydrates which includes maida, sugar, honey, etc. Also the processed food, bakery items, sweets, desserts, etc. 2nd, Foods to be included are foods high in fiber, complex carbohydrates, and 1st class protein coming from low fat animal sources. 3rd, A daily water intake of 8-10 glasses.
