Can high cholesterol cause Achilles tendanitis? I got my cholesterol checked from 2 different clinics One was (After 10 hours of fasting at 9am) TC - 260 HDL-65 LDL- 170 And the second one was( After 12 hours of fasting at 11 30 am) TC- 213 HDL-53 LDL-134 Which one should I assume is correct I did it for the second time because I exercise regularly Waiting for your reply? Should I go for statins Do they cause liver and sugar problems?

Achilles tendonitis is a prominent sign of familial hypercholesterolemia.  Also Vit D could be a cause for the same, so before starting statin kindly check your vit D level.
