Chikungunya is a viral illness transmitted by mosquitoes that causes the sudden onset of fever and severe joint pain. Other signs and symptoms may include fatigue, muscle pain, headache and rash. Signs and symptoms of chikungunya usually appear within two to seven days after being bitten by an infected mosquito. Best thing is it goes in its own but if it still persists keep taking basic treatment.
Next Steps
Avoid heavy antibiotics. Best thing is to control fever.
Health Tips
Ayurveda is the best choice and sureshot treatment to manage the pains as pain is the biggest issue in this case. Massages and steam along with proper medications will help a lot. Keep taking turmeric milk or ginger water. It will reduce pain. For more help connect with us online or visit us at Ayubless Ayurveda Clinic and Panchakarma

Chikungunya fever is usually self-limiting and will resolve with time. Symptomatic treatment is recommended after excluding other more dangerous diseases. There is no vaccine currently available for Chikungunya. Supportive care with rest is indicated during the acute joint symptoms. Movement and mild exercise tend to improve stiffness and morning arthralgia, but heavy exercise may exacerbate rheumatic symptoms.
Next Steps
Homoeopathy has a very good scope in the treatment of chikungunya. Initially indicated acute remedies may give relief which may be followed by constitutional remedy in order to get rid of post fever arthralgia
