Chest pain in upper right part
I got a minor blow to my upper chest as my small kid jumped on to my chest.. after 2 days is started feeling mild pain and while heavy breathing the pain was little high and then it further got radiated to the upper right back .. after doing some study I feel it is costochondritis .. do I need to go for some medication or small stretching exercises will solve the issue... pain is not consistent but it's happening during heavy breathing & some motion movements ..

Look for any swelling palpate the affected area. Look for symmetry . Try applying heat locally to sooth the pain . Hot fermentation would work Consult a physiotherapist so that he can teach stretches and strengthening for rib and upper back muscles .

Hi There must be some muscle spasm too, since the chest was physically hit.... Medications won't be required though.... Yes some cold application and specific stretches on regular basis will help surely... Need to take care of certain postures as well

Rib dysfunction could be sorted by manual therapy. Online consult and exercises could help. Sometimes it requires hands on.
