Cervical Polyp
Hello, I live in abroad and I am facing some fertility problems and need some suggestions. I have long period days. First 3-4 days of light bleeding or spotting then heavy bleeding. Overall it takes about 8-9 days to end my period. My cycle is 21 days. Lately my lower body pains a lot during the periods. I have been going through IVF cycle. One cycle failed and I am asked to take hormonal medicines every month for few days. Due to longer period and shorter cycle, doctor is not able to decide my ET date. So doctor suggested I do endometrium biopsy to check if I have any infection. I also have small fibroids on my uterus. The result of the biopsy is that I don't have any infection but I have cervical polyp and dysfunctional irregularly secretory endometrium. Micro abrasion was done. Can cervical polyp affect embryo implantation in IVF? If yes, what should be done? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Cervical polyp will not have any impact on implantation as it will be outside the uterine cavity. But sometime an endometrial polyp may project outside and appear as cervical polyp. So It needs to be clarified whether this a cervical Polyp or endometrial one
